The Brazos Genealogist
The Brazos Genealogist is the official quarterly of the Brazos Genealogical
Association. The Genealogist is published as Winter, Spring, Summer,
and Fall issues. All current members of the association receive four issues
of the Genealogist each year.
The Brazos Genealogical Advertiser (the name was changed to Brazos
Genealogist in Vol. XI, No. 2, Spring 1990 - ed.) was begun in June of
1979 as a bi-monthly newsletter and was used as the meeting notice for every
other meeting for the first two or three years. At that time its contents
had more current information about members, research hints and ideas.
By 1984 the Advertiser had become a quarterly and its contents had become
primarily Brazos County records and information, preparing for the
Sesquicentennial Celebration of Texas in 1986.
Back issues of the Genealogist are available for purchase
for $4.00 per issue or $14.00 for any 4 issues.
Complete issues only, No individual articles will be copied.
Back issues may be ordered from
